Respecting didactic principles in further education courses

The diploma thesis deals with verification of respecting didactic principles by further education lecturers. The theoretical part contains defining concepts connected with educational process of adults including placing further education in the context of lifelong learning. One of the separate chapters introduces personality of the lecturer. There are the necessary competences for this kind of profession, its description based on data from the National Register of Qualifications and National Profession System and its typology. Except for the lecturer, the diploma thesis also deals with the personality of the learner, its motivation to learn and the possibilities of its approach to participating in learning actions. The rest of the theoretical part contains a list of individual androdidactic principles with their explanation, methods and also trends in adult education in the context of ICT. The practical part focuses on qualitative research investigation aimed at identifying and describing the androdidactic principles which are applied by lecturers during further education courses. Visualization didactic supplies in health education that focuses on the lower secondary education

The work is focused on visual didactic tools for teaching Health Education. It is divided into three parts. The first part deals with the objectives and concept of education. It characterizes what is the subject of Health Education. It focuses on didactic tools, their types, organizational forms, and teaching methods for Health Education. Finally, it specifically focuses on visualizations and visual aids suitable for Health Education teaching. The second part of the work describes the research conducted. The third part of the work contains a description of the created visual aids (comics, sketchnotes, collage) for Health Education teaching. Among other things, you will find prepared lesson plans where specific visual aids are used. The aim of this work was to create a set of visual aids that would help teachers as inspiration for their teaching. Furthermore, the goal was to find out how students work with the created aids, whether they like them, whether they remember the information better when processed in this way, and whether the teaching is more enjoyable with them. These objectives were examined using a quantitative research method, specifically through online questionnaires. Education of pupils with hearing and mental disabilities in the 1st degree of primary school for the hearing impaired

The diploma thesis entitled "Education of Pupils with parallel hearing and mental disabilities in the 1st grade of Primary School for the hearing impaired " analyzes the accessibility of teaching aids for students frequenting Grades 1-6 of elementary schools for students with hearing problems. With respect to the subject treated, one part of the thesis focuses on the instruction methods used for the teaching and education of such children and on the collaboration of the teacher with the hearing-impaired educator or the educator's assistant. Also discussed are the types of communication systems most frequently used by the teachers during their work. The second part of the thesis provides an overview of elementary schools in the Czech Republic, in which students with hearing impairments and parallel mental retardation receive education. The objective of this diploma thesis is to point out the shortage of teaching aids for students with this form of health impairment, who require a variety of educational strategies, given their specific educational needs. The effect of temperature on plant growth: teaching protocols of model experiments

This diploma thesis is focused on the creation of model tasks (by means of an experiment) for the study of biology at secondary schools and concerns the effects of temperature on plant growth. The selected tasks utilize the new didactic approach by means of the so called inquiry based education. This method of teaching contributes to the development of individual deduction reasoning and encourages the students to actively think about the subject matter. The thesis provides the necessary theoretical background for the topic together with the description of methods and material needed for the conducting the experiments. Furthermore, the thesis describes the necessary instructions and procedures to conduct the experiment and its use in the secondary school teaching practice and presents the requisite methodical guidelines and worksheets for them. Simultaneously, the thesis verifies the didactic applicability of the experiment and the worked out materials through a questionnaire survey and monitored application of the model tasks at secondary schools. This dissertation titled "Special catechesis. Theory and Practice" explores the methods of teaching religion to mentally handicapped children. The research focuses on the presentation of theoretical and practical methods introduced by D, Jucha, J. Madeja, D.Doroszewka, B. Janosz and other significant Polish catechists. The theoretical part, besides a systematicly processed terminology also deals with the actual content and the main aim of special-care catechesis. In addition, it provides an interpretation the dignity of man as it can be found in some church archives. Last, but not least, attention is drawn to the important role of families, parishes and catechists. The second, practical, part is inspired by the methods of B. Janosz - whether it is put to creative use along with new teaching materials as well as new communication tools that motivate mentally handicapped children for active participation in special-care classes. The author of this study concluded that even the weakest must be provided adequate catechesis as every human being, no matter how limited, is capable of growth to sanctity. These people feel the need and are entitled to life in faith. There is a need for oligo-catechesis and it is unquestionable.

Didactic Methods used in Botany Teaching at Elementary Schools Diploma thesis concerns the topic of utilizing didactic methods in the education of botanic at the grammar schools. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part, there are described chosen didactic methods and current classification of botanic in the "General education programme of the basic education system". Furthermore, there is described past classification of the botanic in the "Education programme of Grammar school, General school and National school". Second part contains questionnaire results - pupils and teachers of botanic in the 7. grade of grammar school. The goal of the questionnaire was to find out, which teaching methods are used during the education of botanic, which methods are popular and unpopular with teachers as well as students and which methods are, according to the opinions of the teachers, effective and ineffective. Other goal of the questionnaire was to find out, if the teachers are using education programmes during lessons. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first deals with the theoretical view of the vocational education, its development and specifics. The next section describes the differences between education of adults and children. Then the work is focused on the personality of the lector and didactic process, its aims, methods, forms and tools. To conclude the theoretical part summarizes the principle of feedback. The second part is summarized of research where respondents are lectors themselves. From research we know how much are they competent to exercise the profession of lecturers from the point of view of teaching, respectively didactic. The research used the questionnaire with closed and open questions.

This diploma thesis deals with the didactic means of teaching health education and research of selected online resources usable for teaching health education at the second stage of primary and secondary schools. The aim of the work is to verify the quality of materials available online suitable for use in teaching health education and to show their practical use. The materials are verified in terms of the quality of materials, their practical use in teaching and focus in terms of the level of education.
